These earrings are high quality, with solid and substantial butterfly clips to secure them in place. The setting of the jadeite is reinforced with a solid 18k gold backing. The gold is a rich, luxurious yellow that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant green jadeite.

Jadeite is a subset of jade. Jade is a term that captures both nephrite, the green stone typically used in sculptures, and jadeite, which is rarer and can be polished to a high lustre making it ideal for jewellery.
